Now there’s an idea for a possible summer for me. I usually go to the Alps. Even this year I am considering them again in spite of my knees. Have you ever tried learning any of the Scandinavian languages?
Not really. I learned a few basic words of Swedish for a business trip to the far north years ago. You always get great appreciation in countries where few foreigners can speak anything! But it really was basic stuff and I did no grammar. With the weather as it is these days there’s no knowing for sure what will greet you. But I’m sure you’d love a holiday there – plenty of flat areas for your knees. Good train service to get around.

Mick was looking at the Lumiere site for the London show and Elephantastic is there and the beautiful crinoline ladies from Durham cloisters 2 years ago, as well as the newer stuff. It will be amazing! Looking forward to your photos 🙂

I haven’t looked yet (don’t want to upset myself 😦 ) but Mick did mention a few sites and it does sound extensive.

Make sure you wander around the Old Town and also out to Djurgården. You can visit Moderna Museet – the Modern Museum for free.
