. I’m not very tall, you know, BUT I’m really not this short!
I don’t know if this happens to someone else….
Can’t bear hot damp weather , and fear cold…
These last months we really needed rain , but I hated it , after only a few days….
Are you telling me that it means “aging”?
Love your post and photo

Ha! You’re probably allowed to be fussy about weather given the country you live in! No. Don’t fear the rain. I’m sure it keeps our skin moist and young looking 😀

Rain makes everything distorted through the lens. ☺

Ha! And this was helped by a mirror. It’s a good deterrent to eating too madly mind you.

You won’t want to visit Seattle then, it seems to be drizzling here all year long…

Perhaps it is time to head for the hills? Soon the UK will simply be a chain of islands as in the west of Scotland.

Yes, that’s a very appropriate likeness. In fact, I’m hoping to get to some of those islands this summer

I’d love to visit them. Probably not this year though, maybe next.

Do you have any experience of going there? Best time of year to avoid midges?
LikeLike
Yes I go up regularly. I haven’t been in the middle of summer yet but I’ve never had a problem with midges in the city. If you go mid-summer the main problem is the Festival – great to go to, but crowded and accommodation is hard to get.
It’s a very varied city so any time of year is good. If you want any specific advice once you get planning do drop me a line on dsmyth55d@gmail.com and i’ll get back to you.
