A Touch of Vintage

Sepia tons to indicate the era!

My first pet was this lively and very opinionated pony! He was the greatest joy of my childhood and my love of riding is still with me; being combined with my travels whenever possible – be it horseback safaris in Africa or walking with donkeys in France (ok, not horses but often fantastic companions for horses).

At Stratford Racecourse – stable doors far too high for him!

I had to wait until I was adult to get my first dog – another huge joy and a great travelling partner in the UK, walking in all parts of Britain and Northern Ireland, and sailing too.  Here he is on the Norfolk Broads:

  1. I love horses and can still remember the first horse I ever had. My parents bought it when I was away, then took me to the farm to see him. When they told me he was mine, I was speechless with joy!
