Only three weeks late!
I have finally got myself organised and am joining Robyn’s February photo editing challenge. I’ll post the first 3 weeks over 3 days and then get back to normal for the final week.
This now closed pub in Camden caught my eye as I walked to the train station on a wintry but sunny day. It was actually an upside down anchor on the roof that first attracted me, but the lamp over the doorway won me over. As far as I can tell, this pub first opened in 1870 and closed in 2013, with plans to convert into flats. There has since been much dispute about the conversion or demolition and the pub still stands there, looking sad and rather neglected.
The edits in this first version are fairly simple – a bit of straightening, cropping and sharpening, plus highlights calmed down, shadows lightened and the aqua paint brightened.
