There’s something unusual about the Statue of Justice at Dublin Castle, as this little ditty explains:
“The Statue of Justice,
mark well her station,
her face to the castle and
her arse to the nation!”
Lady Justice adorns many a building around the world and normally faces outwards, towards the people. This statue also wears no blindfold and carries her sword aloft, but then so too does the Lady Justice that stands atop the Old Bailey in London.

An interesting Ditty 🙂

Great photo – having just had a family member win a long battle in the Irish courts I am glad to say that justice does triumph in Ireland and the sword is truly held aloft. 🙂

That’s a happy story to go with my photos.
