Green Park, London, 2013
This is not a geographic location to match the name of this Crayola tropical colour, but Green Park’s trees obviously have tropical ambitions.
Or is just a dream?

Hex colour reference: #17806d
A colourful note: Tropical Rain Forest was one of the 16 colours introduced namelessly in 1992 as part of the Crayola naming competition. This one was named by youngster Walker Watson, aged 6.

It’s an old shot, before I knew much about photography and it’s not the best clarity, but the editing was fun!

Isn’t it fun to go back and see our progress – ? I recently found some flower photos I entered into a show in 2005 and had to laugh at how bad they were – but they were also my best at the time and so remain dear to my heart – but I tossed the collage I entered – and I wonder what other folks were thinking when they saw it hanging- thankfully it was in the amateur category – but looking back it could have been the student one!
Anyhow – glad you dug in your archives!

It’s amazing how much we can learn. And a bit worrying what we’ll think about this week’s photos when we look at them on 2020!!
But I’ve just been watching a tv programme about NOT getting old, and one of the most important things is to keep learning new things – anything – it keeps the brain young

That is fun to think about how we will look back in 2020 – yikes – I think of this when I ee the Razr cell phones and used to love them ten years ago – and saw someone in a movie with an iPhone 4 and so I wonder what the phones will be like in say 2025 – probably little???
