El Palmeral de las Sorpresas,  Malaga,  Spain,  May 2016

The port area of Malaga has been remodelled in recent years, adding shops, museums and restaurants and welcoming in large cruise ships.  Since 2011, Muelle Dos has been blessed with a wide variety of palm trees and this gorgeous, curvy pergola. The work of Junquera Arquitectos brings shade and beauty to the seafront, with its stripes and curves changing with the light.
