Timelessness

Seville Cathedral (Catedral de Santa María de la Sede), is the largest cathedral and the third-largest church in the world.  Construction began in 1402 and finished in 1506, when it won the title of largest cathedral from Hagia Sophia.  Everything about this building is massive: it has immense beauty both inside and out, it has an incredibly long nave, several beautiful domes and an impressive tower (la Giralda).  It’s timelessness and importance were recognised by UNESCO in 1987, when it was registered as a World Heritage Site.

Out in the small orange grove courtyard, you may think it isn’t quite timeless, though:
