Havana, Cuba, November 2016

Hex colour ref: efcdb8
A colourful note: the origins of the colour name desert sand are apparent when you observe how accurately it resembles the Saharan sand. Interestingly, it was used by General Motors as a paint colour for their early Cadillacs. It became a Crayola crayon colour in 1998.

Oh, I’d take a Cadillac in that colour. Well, any colour, really.

I did hunt my photos for one in this colour, but couldn’t find one!
Though having a real one would be much better of course!

Love this! The geometry, the gentle colour…well observed, Debs!

Thanks Sue – there was so much to take in in Cuba, that sometimes it was hard to spot the simpler things

I was there 14 nights. Could happily have stayed longer.
