These celebrity cranes stand in the shipyard of Harland & Wolff in Belfast, and have names that reflect their size.   Built at a time when Harland & Wolff was one of the largest shipbuilders in the world, Goliath stands 96 metres tall and was completed in 1969, whilst Samson towers at 106 metres and was completed in 1974.

A colourful note: laser lemon landed in Crayola world in 1990.  The exact same colour formulation had been a Crayola crayon since 1972, under the name chartreuse.  Laser lemon still exists, but its duplicate predecessor retired in 2003.
