This massive piece of street art hangs high above the corner of Rivington Street, a short walk from Old Street station. It is a colourful depiction of American performance artist Ayakamay, whose work investigates the relationship between capturing photographic images and live performances. The mural is the work of Spanish street artist Core246 and graffiti writer Kaes (Jay Caes).

Shoreditch used to have more of this sizeable murals, but as new developments move in there is less free space on the walls. I don’t get over there as much as I used to but I think this piece has ben up for a year or so. In a great spot. on a corner not far from a major tube station.

That is a must impressive, huge mural that adds style and color to that building. Too bad taggers have painted across the top of the building.

It is very impressive, and hard to miss!
At least the taggers didn’t damage the mural itself.
