Coffee Bean

#8e4585 color imagePosted for today’s plum Crayola challenge:

A colourful note:  in 1958, Crayola issued their largest box of crayons so far – 64 colours in a wide box, with a flip top and a fitted pencil sharpener.  Plum was one of the brand new colours in this jumbo range.

Named, rather obviously, after the fruit, the first recorded use as a color name in English was back in 1805.

    • And it wasn’t bad coffee. I’ve got some photos here that I like. But the weather has been unpredictable. Today was so windy I could barely stand let alone take steady shots. Hoping for calmer weather tomorrow!

      • We were the same over the last few days. Yesterday Teresa had to hold onto me and stand in the way of the wind so I could take a steady photo!!! We had a great time and wished we could have stayed. Come with us next time 🙂
