A colourful note:  no pier or funfair would be meeting cultural standards if it didn’t sell cotton candy (candy floss in the UK and New Zealand;  sugar flossing Australia).  The fluffy confectionary consists of air and sugar, plus a bit of colouring and maybe a hint of flavour.

Not a sweet that I’m a big fan of, but it inspired a perfect shade of colour for Crayola.
