Inside the Heydar Aliyev Centre, Baku, Azerbaijan, March 2017

This tantalising building of curves, whites and reflections is the work of Zaha Hadid. Referred to be some as “Queen of the Curve”, she has delivered some amazing buildings around the world, with this one in Baku being one of her later projects. Sadly, she died in March 2016 but her work is out there, around the world, for us to enjoy.

I can’t imagine more fascinating stairs to photograph, and still I think that only a few would produce such a tantalising shot as you did.

Oh, thank you Paula. You make me feel so good with your comments. and it’s much needed today as I’m trying to clear a backload of work – and I need inspiration to write a technical document!
Have a great Easter my dear!
