A colourful note: the colour silver is a shade of grey that attempts to replicate the colour of polished silver. The metallic shine cannot really be reproduced in a crayon, though, as the shiny effect is due to the contrast between the metal’s surface and the angle of the light source.

Interesting description of the color silver as related to crayons. I had not ever considered that. But of course. With photography, light is everything!!!! 🙂
