This week Paula has asked us to look back over our posts of 2017 and show our best. Having published a few reminiscent posts of 2017 shots recently, I thought I’d limit my decision-making to my Cuba images, which were shot in December 2016 but posted in 2017. After much thought, I have chosen the one below.

Street art in Havana, Cuba, December 2016

I love the one you picked because it is culture rich – has art – has people – has joy – has fashion – has beauty – has patina – has structures that whisper of years of old as the new children beam with young life
the colors coordinate and then it has female beauty – that is nothing to do with sex appeal – just all this natural essence –
hmmmm

Paula – did you know that Jo and I thought the lady on the wall painting resembled you a bit 🙂

Looking at your images just makes me sigh, Debs! 🙂 🙂 And it’s strange but the lady on the wall has a bit of the look of Paula, in my eyes. Love both those images.

Love the ones with the girls in Cuba. Alone they tell a story, but the story from the perspective of the mural creates curiosity. I love them . Great choices for the challenge.
