You chose some great angles on both photos. The second photo I really love how you captured the sensation of a city at night.. the blues in the sky are wonderful. The first photo is my favorite of the two – the angle you chose first drew my eye to the building on the right, which seems almost imposing and massive… versus the collection of art on the sidewalk. Then… the little teeny moon in the sky.. a lot of contrast and competing focuses and I just love how it is all together in one photo. I realize this sounds a little philosophical but these photos really made me stop and stare. Architecture is so amazing to photograph. Nicely done.

It’s a very busy spot and I’d usually be dashing with the crowds but the light just caught all the posters so well that I had to pause a while.
If you were get a chance to watch or listen to Spanish media at New Years Eve, the clock on the left is the one that rings the twelve bongs for New Year (and the Spanish eat a grape to coincide with each bong)

Heh, I was at this very spot just 3 months ago on a work trip to Madrid. It’s such a bustling city even late in the evening.

I was there for work too, but had tome to wander and explore the city. I found areas I didn’t know we’ll snd love the city even more now.
