Artist Rebecca Louise Law brings life to the past with her striking displays of expired flowers.
I was lucky enough to visit her Life in Death display at Kew Gardens in London earlier this year, where a room was filled with dangling garlands of 375,000 preserved flowers, inspired by the ancient Egyptian funeral garlands of Rameses II.
That exhibition closed in March, but there are regular opportunities to see her displays and prints around the world. She was in San Francisco earlier this year, and there is an ongoing exhibition in Denmark.

From looking at the part of the slideshow I could see, they’re all black and white photos. It is an interesting theme for a photo project.
