“I like to photograph anyone before they know what their best angles are.”
— Ellen Von Unwerth

Fame seeker in Iceland, September 2018
This wee fella didn’t know his best angle but, nonetheless, he was very insistent on having his portrait taken. I wasn’t that excited by his posing, as he was blocking the way for my ND filter. The wind, snow and heavy rain had made long exposures somewhat impractical for the previous two days, and now, on my last morning on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, I was hoping to take advantage of a dry and partly sunny interval. In the end, I gave in to his filmstar-like demands, grabbed a couple of shots and he kindly moved on.
Yes, I’m back again, and late again, with my weekly quotation-inspired image.
