Buzzing bees in the blossom

Busy bees in Delphi,  February 2019

These busy bees were hard to capture as they barely paused for a second, and constantly presented their rear ends to me and my unsuitable lens!

  1. Buzzing about and presenting bottoms is what bees seem to do best, as their heads are generally inserted in flowers. 🙂 I found a rather large group right before winter, sitting somnolent on a number of flowers. They didn’t even move when I got my phone right up near them.
