This cute-looking hedgehog is the work of French street artist, Ardif. He initially trained as an architect, but street art has become his passion, and he specialises in depicting animals that are half natural and half mechanical.

I can’t even hazard a guess at what all those levers and pulleys do, but I’ll let you study for yourselves.

You’ve chosen a very intriguing work today! As you say, the mystery of what all the gears and pulleys are made to accomplish is the best thing about this. Also his cute little face.

His name is written on one of the spokes of the bottom wheel. And then I googled to find out about his work. I’ve become the Sherlock of Street Art! 😀
