Spring embellishment

It’s time for a sad farewell to Becky’s latest square challenge. We have all shared spikiness galore during March – such fun to see everyone’s wide interpretations.

I have to say I was feeling daunted by the theme at the beginning of the month, but then the jagged sharpness of it stabbed my imagination.

For the last day of the month, I thought I’d go for soft spikes and gentle colours, and even a hint of Spring, as we move into Summer Time on our European clocks.

  1. This is fabulous, what a lovely way to finish.

Must admit I felt very daunted after I announced it, but like you inspiration flowed as the spikes got pointier. Think though I might do something that sounds less daunting from the start next time!
