“There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.”
— Ansel Adams

This sculpture honours the local musician, Agapito Marazuela Albornos (1891-1983). He learned to play dulzaina and drum at a young age, but is best known as a guitarist, and for his support of traditional Castilian music.
It’s time for a weekly quotation-inspired image.

Interesting! And now, I’d love to go to Segovia to see it and the rest of the town. Thanks for sharing.

I loved Segovia. And it’s a great day trip if you’re in Madrid.

I’ve never been to Spain or Portugal. Got to find time and $$$ to get there. The pictures are lovely.

Two great countries – spending can be kept reasonably low once you get there! Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga are some of my favourite cities in the world. Good luck on the saving 🙂

When I saw the quote, I just knew I had to include photos of this art installation (even though I wasn’t really dressed for the occasion): https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/04/24/the-camera-in-the-mirror/
