I would never call myself an art lover but I do love a bit of street art! It feels real and is usually more relatable!

Amusing cartoon. It looks like it was painted over graffiti. Or vice versa?

And Brick Lane, one of my old haunts when I lived my 20 years in Bethnal Green, was one of my old haunts. First the huguenots (think the name Petticoat Lane came from their weaving abilities and my gg grandfather was a Camroux) and afterwards the jewish immigrants with their rag trade. Now the smells of curry fill the air and the artists have discovered it. I paid a visit now and again when I visited my dad. It has changed, but it was my growing up grounds. I love seeing the murals.

Yes, it’s a great area, that changes with the times. Not quite so much curry now, I think. a bit of a move towards African, and a wide spread of inhabitants, workers and food types.

Big ole grin! I will mind the Scottish man, especially if it is James McAvoy or Craig Ferguson.
