White Horse of Hanover

White Horse of Hanover, Kew Gardens, London, June 2019

The White Horse joined the Royal Arms in 1714 when the crown of Great Britain passed to the Elector George of Hanover, when he became George I, King of Great Britain of Ireland. This statue of the white horse stands outside the Palm House in Kew Gardens.
