For a moment, I pictured the right side of your snap as part of that building 🙂

Usually I don’t like big bulky things, but you have a way of making thing fit “nicely, not bulky” haha. Love the colors in this image too! Here’s mine: https://wp.me/p9EWyp-1wz

Yes, that is the Torre Agbar, or Torre Glories – always reminds me of London’s Gherkin.

I know the building on the left but what an interesting angle.

Yes, the well known Torre Agbar on the left – and there are still a few of the area’s old chimneys in situ – one of those on the right (and hotel in middle)

A beautiful composition in your overlap Debbie! Our contribution for this week has several overlapping layers: https://tranature.com/2019/12/08/haiku-rising-tide/

What are the cylinders on either side? The one on the left is interesting to me because it first appeared to be enormous, with windows in it. But then the actual windows are such a different size that it threw me for a time.
I’m going with nature this morning (no surprise, I know, but…):

The one on the right is an old warehouse chimney as this used to be an industrial area in Barcelona. The one on the left is the Torre Agbar or Torre Glories – a tall and curvy office building: https://travelwithintent.com/2018/08/18/gaudi-montserrat-and-a-water-geyser/

A bit of a sideways look at the challenge from me as I went with an image that connects with my contribution to the Layered challenge last week:

I’m glad you did – it’s a beautiful image.
And I hadn’t thought at the time of setting the challenge themes, but layers and overlap have a lot of similarities.

I sort of assumed you had gone with a short theme with two similar prompts.

Interesting, I have to say it put me a little in mind of the development within the old gasworks at St Pancras… Anyway, here’s mine, perhaps to raise the bar even higher??! https://suejudd.com/2019/12/08/one-word-sunday-overlap/
