If a donkey bray at you, don’t bray at him.
George Herbert (British poet, 1593-1633)

Braying and singing carols in London, December 2019

It’s time for my weekly quotation-inspired image.
If the quote inspires a pictorial or wordy post from you, do feel free to link in or to pop your URL in the comments.
No quotation post next Wednesday, so enjoy the festive season, and I’ll be back with a quote on New Year’s Day.

Oooh. I wish I’d got photos of our local donkeys so I could join in. They are employed by the local church twice a year to illustrate Palm Sunday and the Nativity. Or so I’m told. I should check it out!

Sedate and very cute, Brian. This group were outside the Houses of Parliament the day after the election. At first I thought they were political demonstrators, but it was just carol singing. Perhaps trying to cheer everyone up!
