“Photography is the story I fail to put into words”
Destin Sparks
Thanks go to Elke at Pictures Imperfect and Eklastic, for pointing me to this quote. As we often say, “a picture paints a thousand words”, which certainly backs up the quote. But I have to say that telling a story with only pictures, can be just as difficult. I’m working on a project to tell a story with 5 images at the moment, and it is not easy!
For now, I’m going to give the “putting into words” a go:

Tea time!

Don’t eat it all!
Time for a weekly quotation-inspired image.
If the quote inspires a pictorial or wordy post from you, do feel free to link in or to pop your URL in the comments.

I think you should have trusted your photos without text – they are evocative enough.
Mine is an old story, quite a repetitive one: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/02/05/and-so-it-begins/
