Piccadilly Circus, London, March 2020

And I wasn’t the only one
peering at this largely windowless phonebox

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Hey Debbie, great post. I couldn’t do it on the rain because in Georgia we have been having a lot of rain lately. https://queennandini.wordpress.com/2020/03/07/six-word-plays-operas-part-2/

Love the red telephone boxes! Hope they’re restored. Yesterday it began to look more like spring here in Madison. Blooming Snowdrops! https://fakeflamenco.com/2020/03/07/do-snowdrops-mean-spring-is-here/

Interesting to see the interior up close, Debbie. And I love it when they’re restored and re-used!

A sign of the times, but it would be nice if they could make up their mind to either restore it or remove it. Here’s my contribution: https://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/2020/03/07/six-word-saturday-ms-anhinga-sings-her-heart-out/

It’s one of the main restorers of the red boxes. Could have been stables – there are certainly pictures of many old boxes in a field waiting for his attention

I remember them well, although in Bethnal Green that were continuously out of action, being broken into for the money on nuerous occasions.

and now they are just smashed for fun. This is one of a pair standing on etc corner of Piccadilly Circus and they were in a dreadful state

I’m sure he could arrange that, thought the Dr Who poems all start “Fezzes are red, the TARDIS is blue, …..”

That’s a bit sad. Best when they’re stuffed with books as a community book exchange.
