Where do you think I was?

March 2020
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Even though I knew the answer I had to look hard to spot the Ponte de Abril bridge in the background. Never seen this view of Lisbon, Debs, so well chosen. 🙂 🙂 No gallivanting for a while. Stay safe!

It was my new Lisbon discovery. 25 min ferry across to Barreiros. I hope to return for a my relaxed exploration.
My daughter’s company has closed the office, and I’m locking myself away with her! Take care over there. Art least we have our blogs to keep us entertained and in conversation 🙂

Great picture. It must be Mediterranian but don’t know. Sadly you’re right. No more travels for a bit

I didn’t know but I checked the tags. 🙂 Looks like a lovely spot. My entry (or re-entry, as I’m just back from a short trip to Arizona to get our rental house, set up a bank account, etc.) might be a bit painful for part of your readers, but I think they’ll all get a laugh out of what I saw on the window of a children’s play facility.

I initially thought Greece, then Portugal….and scrolling though the comments, I see I’m correct!

I’ve seen these windmills in Portugal. So like David, that is my guess.
Stay sound, stay safe. *hugs*

I thought I had worked out where the windmills were but now I’m not sure. Portugal?

Having come up with Portugal I started double guessing myself and thinking Atlantic coast of Spain/France.

I’m guessing that this dates from your recent sortie to Rotterdam, although like Mariawijk, I feel those windmills look quite southern European.

Ironically, I had hoped to get to the windmills near Rotterdam, but didn’t.
These are a bit further south 🙂 🙂

You’ve caught this cute fellow well – and I like your 6 words, Irene.
I just cannot leave comments on your site, I’m afraid – no matter how I try to log in it just spins forever and nothing happens.

My guess – somewhere round the Mediterranean, maybe Greece. It way to sunny to be up north ! 🙂
Looks loveley!

It reminded me of Greece, but no, further north 😀
