A Lisbon square, March 2020
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

I am glad you decided to join Colline. It’s a good place to start a chat with someone. And amazing what 6 words can do – philosophy, poetry, moan, hilarity, ….. I hope your classes go well next week

Great shot.
Mine is similar although Septimus doesn’t even have the excuse of it just being after lunch – https://beckybofwinchester.com/2020/03/28/stay-home-stay-safe-saturday-bonus/

A well-deserved rest. He must be tired, to be able to rest like this. Well spotted, Debbie!
Have a good Saturday, all of you.

This is hilarious. Although I know the private taxi company, uber or rather über in German means “over”, hence the gentleman has not just been eating but overeating. 🙂
Here is my sixer for the week:

Yes, I think they had their superiority in mind when they gave it that name. But that’s an interesting complication for their Uber Eats name – how do you say overeating in German?

You can only use the word “fressen” (feeding of animals or really gross eating): überfressen. “Das Essen war so gut, ich habe mich total überfressen.”

Yes, I’ve been busy with work this week, but managed a bit of gardening too. The other big job has been waiting in online queues to order food!
I’ve built up a huge pile of reading but have barely sat down to get going on it. I’m planning to put that right this weekend. But would much rather share your views, weather and cake! Take care, Jo x

Even cake can get wearing after a while, Debs. Hang on- did I actually say that? Don’t let the other half hear. He’s just polishing off a few more biscuits 🙂 🙂
