It’s worth a read – he talks about shadow more than light, and it tells as much about Japanese history and culture, as about art and appearance

Light through window or door – I can’t remember exactly, but I think I positioned the table at a door from the garden. And I stood inside. I did a few shoots yesterday and this morning, as we may be short on sunlight for the next few days.
