Even a brief wander around Valencia, will open your eyes to the architectural beauty of this city, and the tremendous wealth that must have been behind its creation.
Much of the city shows it age; much of it calls out for love and attention.

Many of the beauties have already been renovated, while much work is still underway. The building below has had its wonderful facade saved, while serious demolition and rebuilding goes on behind the scenes.

Personally, I was amazed that the facade remained upright, and felt more than a little nervous standing beneath it.

The picture of the wall is really nice, with Valencian light.
It is also intersting how varied the architecture is in this city, do you feel it too?

It looks as if work had proceeded since I last saw it, six months before you did. Let’s hope it’s more or less finished now. Money will be in short supply for some while.

Looks like something worth saving, but so much work to do so!!

But such a shame to lose the rest of the edifice, all that history

It certainly is – but what a challenge! I must get back to see what it looks like after the work is complete
