It was a beautiful evening, but I walked the wrong side of the bridge to get a photo this way (and there’s no crossing now with all of the security barriers on London bridges). By the time I had managed to change direction these dark clouds had swept in (about the time of the fights at Waterloo, in fact) but yes they gave some real mood.
Maybe you just didn’t notice them, Margaret – they are the ones that went up to prevent cars driving along the pavement. I forget about them except when I want to cross!

Beautiful composition. Did you get rain with those dark clouds?
It’s been years since I’ve visited London.

No. Though some other clouds had deposited their contents on me an hour or 2 earlier while I munched on fish and chips.

We can put that right when it is safe enough to do so. I can’t wait to get back to some of my favourite places for a sit, eat and chat.
