Quy Water and Lode Mill, Cambridgeshire, June 2020

Lode Mill is a working mill that dates back to the eighteenth century, and it is believed that a watermill stood on the same site as far back as the Domesday survey in 1086.

You can visit the mill as part of a visit to the National Trust Anglesey Abbey, and enjoy a wander along the Quy Water.
Do check opening times and booking requirements before visiting.

How lovely! That bridge shot has a very Monet’s garden feel to it, don’t you think? 🙂

Yes, it was a great spot, with the strong sunshine adding a bit of Monet “blur-dazzle” 🙂
