Fancy a seat with a view?

Goodge Street Station building on Tottenham Court Road, London

Tottenham Court Road, London, June 2020

You need to look closely

A seat balanced outside a window above Goodge Street Station

And here is a quick update for those who have asked to see the view:

Not from the chair! But from one of the windows nearby.

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.

I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.

To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

    • There probably was, David. And it may still be there. Although the lower parts of Tottenham Court Road have been modernised, the north end, and the side streets haven’t changed that much.

      • The building is probably still there then but I suspect that the processing lab is long gone. It was a pro lab well hidden on a side street and pro labs were disappearing two decades ago. I couldn’t find a good processing lab in Ontario for my E-6 process film 15 years ago.

        • I’ve never been a film person as I’m a newcomer to camera addiction 😀 there are some very good printers and digital processors down the side streets but you’re right, the film labs have probably vanished

  1. Yikes! Not my cup of tea for sure. Happy Saturday to you, Debbie. I’m off to bed shortly after a good and even a bit cool day. It was lovely. Back up into the low 100’s tomorrow, but we’re getting there.
