Daddy longlegs

 

This crane fly looked more substantial in his shadows than in reality. At least he has hung onto his stilt-like legs, even if one looks somewhat deformed. Not something I normally take photos of, but I loved his shadows.

  1. Great photos and shadows! In my family, back a few generations, we call crane flies migglihinks. Don’t quote me on the spelling, it might bemiggilihinks, or migglyhinks or something I haven’t considered! Probably no one ever bothered to spell it out!
