Tribal portrait

Dale Grimshaw mural, part of London Mural Festival, Hackney Wick, September 2020

London is currently enjoying its first ever London Mural Festival, with a selection of both local and international artists decorating the walls of London.

This immense mural is close to Hackney Wick station, and is a portrait that can be readily attributed to Dale Grimshaw. Even if he hadn’t signed it.

If you’re in the London area and want to find this or the other murals that are being created, you’ll find a map here. It is being updated as new pieces are created.

  1. A mural festival, how exciting Debbie! We used to have a yearly mural festival, but haven’t had one for 2 years now.
    Love the face, beautifully done.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
