A quick wander in Shoreditch a week or two ago:
Shoreditch, London, 18 September 2019
And in the afternoon:
The guys doing the initial work told me it would be finished the following day but is a few day before I got back.

Wow, I love how this morphed into something totally humorous and linear with lots of cute pink dots. Glad you were able to get back to see the actual mural.

She seems to like pink dots. If you see writing on pink dots, it’s Aida!
I wondered at first if they were going to be the dreaded virus blobs. It didn’t, but I see she has done something very similar for the virus: https://www.instagram.com/p/CEFWnNwHkgx/

She seems to be quite outspoken as well as humorous. Not an artist I knew by name but I can see from very quick Googling that I’ve seen her work before.

I had chatted with the preparer guys who told me it was their first time doing such a big mural and it would be a portrait. Ha ha! They weren’t the main artist and it’s certainly not a portrait!
