Violet beautyberry at Kew Gardens, London, October 2020

The beautyberry is a hardy deciduous shrub. In summer it sports point flowers, but it is the violet bead-like berries that really give it its appeal. Simply a stunning display in autumn.

Me too. But when I looked it up it seems quite common. I’m tempted to get one for my garden – but not at all sure where I can squash it in.
