Abandoned

This week, Nancy has asked us to share something abandoned. This doll was abandoned and lay at the roadside for much of the first UK COVID lockdown. Not the cheeriest of companions for my daily walks.

  1. Again I hark back to Drop he Dead Donkey and the placement of dolls at war-ravaged scenes. It so reminds me of that. They say that all Vietnam war photographers carried a doll in their knapsacks (he habit started there apparently) along with a child’s shoe.
