I visited there in the mid-seventies but don’t remember too much about it, so what fun to see photos from there. As for the Ides of March, that’s my birthday! 🙂
Aaah Up Pompeii with Frankie, a bit of an old classic there! Great photos, I was looking into visiting before the pandemic took hold, hope I can get there one day!
My last time in Pompeii was just 18 months ago but it seems an eternity away. I remember it was so hot I almost gave up halfway around the site but I had someone with me who had never been before so that kept me stumbling on with sweat pouring into my eyes (and i had an umbrella). It was one of the hottest days in a hot June. But – wish I was there now!
Loved the FH as well. Classic.
Aaarrgghh … what a collection of old chestnuts! I know “A funny thing happened at the Forum” of course, but I didn’t know this off-shoot. Thanks for smirks on this dreary Saturday morning, so many naughty bits, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

It must be so cool to be able (non covid times) to travel and see all these old and ancient places. The US is so new. 😀

I have heard about Pompeii so much. I’d love to visit but when it isn’t hot. A beautiful collection you got there, Debbie.
