Never much black from Thierry Noir

A classic Thierry Noir work in London, image taken in October 2020

The works of Thierry Noir can be seen on walls around the world – in public and private collections, and out on the streets.

I am grateful that there are many of his pieces decorating the streets of London. He was in London in late 2019 and I was lucky enough to meet him at the Berlin Wall display at the IWM. I also saw him at his Jazz exhibition in Shoreditch back in 2015.

  1. The colors and the stylized figures are great. I read a Guardian article about how he was the first to paint the Berlin Wall — very fascinating.
