Me too. And they are very popular for holidays at the moment – self catering domestic holidays are allowed over here now.

I hope people have lessons before setting off or do you need a licence? I can imagine “canal rage” 😀

I think you get a 10 minute lesson! Start, stop, left, right. And basic rules of speed and lock use. Then it’s practice!

No. I went on one decades ago with a friend’s family. I’d like to drive one some time. I fancy going down the Canal du Midi. What about you?
