Whitby, July 2021
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Hi Debbie
That is an amazing photo. Did you let Monty Python sneak in this week?
Here’s a six-worder from me, not at all as funny as yours:

I wonder how the yard got its name… Over an argument between neighbours’ fishwives? Or as a result of a probate dispute? …
I’m not one to argue today: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/07/24/without-love-we-are-just-pelicans/

I have to say I don’t know where the name comes from. I think the neighbourly argument is a strong suggestion

I guess not and Brian took the word right out of my comment–the door appears to have a wry smile on it. Such a lovely blue as well; just an attractive shot all-around.

I reckon the door is posing to compete with the attention the argument sign gets 😃

Could well be. I did make me think of Edinburgh and its narrow alleys
