As someone who spent much of my life on the road and having spent hours searching for a phone – I can honestly say I wish inhad had a mobile phone.ĺ

Of course with no phone books, which always seemed to be usual with public phones, you had to know numbers by memory. Just imagine!!

Wonderful. I didn’t have one until our child was born. I relied on public phone like these!

These days they are looking uncared for, damaged and dirty. My daughter came along before mobiles – I had a pager instead.
Hard to imagine not having a smart phone these days – calls, messages, maps, books, photos, paying, weather, ………

Yes, sad about the phone booths. Yes, mobiles are very useful, our little hand held computers! …and blogging. 😉
