Great tones and effect in your photo. Wave is a subject that’s near to my heart. It was during the pandemic that I headed to secluded beaches to take photos.

I like your wind-whipped waves. Here is my post with a couple of wave pics for OWS.

Considering how many ocean photos I have I had a hard time finding one I liked. After wasting way too much time I chose this one.

I know the feeling. Hunting the archives can be very frustrating.
But I like what you found in the end, Jackie

Me too – can be both relaxing and scary, depending on the weather.

I can’t seem to comment on the blog so my comment is: Very cute. That will be our grandson and son-in-law one day. 🙂

Take a wave if available … You were obviously spoilt for choice. And created an almost abstract picture with it. I had only one I could use: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/06/05/if-you-dont-have-the-sea-a-single-wave-will-do/

I had intended to do a hand wave but my archive system failed me! The chosen shot was one of MANY that I took as the sun went down in Saltburn. It was a lot wilder than this abstract suggests. In fact someone further down the promenade was hit by a wave and knocked unconscious.

😮 It often amazes me how people underrate the power of water and/or the sea. – I hadn’t even thought of a hand waving because I immediately had the images of us playing on that stony wave in mind.

Oooh, lovely sea! Here’s my rather more turbulent one, in monochrome so you see the textures: https://suejudd.com/2022/06/05/wave/

Yes. A lovey spot and a scary storm. Though the ICM and colour have made this look more pretty and less scary. Yours has more of the scary in it, Sue.
