A new pier maybe. A very photogenic place especially on a stormy day. Thai photo of the busy was the morning after a very stormy night.

So very British (English?), I don’t think I’ve ever seen something similar in Germany although they might exist in other countries.

I always think go them as very English too. I think they do lurk elsewhere, but probably not such a part of seaside culture as they ae over here.
