And most agree with you. This statue had been moved from a more prominent position but in Kyrgyzstan they still appreciate some things he gave them – their country and its borders, and a big push on education apparently.
No mention of the other side of his actions. Though I haven’t been here long so I probably haven’t seen the full story

It was the October second revolution after Februarys that sealed the fate for the Russian people in 1917. Millions dead afterwards. I can believe that they still place Lenin’s statue prominently anywhere.
