Kitchener in Almaty

245 Furmanov Avenue, Almaty, Kazakhstan, image taken September 2022

I was delighted to find a mural by one of my favourite UK street artists on my recent visit to Almaty in Kazakhstan.

It was a typical Dan Kitchener portrayal of a wet street with colourful lights, traffic and pedestrians. It was created in 2018 and is located on a busy street about 25 minutes’ walk from the centre of town.

  1. It’s such a beautiful mural, it really gives the feeling of rain and movement.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Debbie.
I couldn’t imagine Kazakhstan would have murals, how wonderful.
